Frequently asked questions
We specialise in a whole range of ecology, environmental and planning roles, which also includes arboriculture, EIA, flood risk and hydrology, landscape architecture, town planning, GIS and more. If you're working in or around these areas, we may be able to help — and if we can't, we’ll always try to point you in the right direction.
Absolutely not. We’ll always have a conversation with you first, explain the role and the company, give you an opportunity to do any further research if you choose, and only share your details if you give us the go-ahead. Your trust is important to us, and confidentiality and transparency are a huge part of how we work.
No — your job search is completely confidential. We’ll never share your CV or details with anyone without your consent, and we’re careful about how we contact you and represent you. If you're currently employed, we’ll work around your schedule and communication preferences to make sure your search stays private, and we will never reach out to your employer for references without your permission. Again, your trust is important to us, and discretion is a core part of how we work.
That's completely fine — many of the people we work with aren't actively job hunting! We're happy to have an informal chat, learn what matters to you, and let you know if something relevant comes up in the future.
Tailoring your CV to highlight relevant skills and certifications / licences, including clear project examples and achievements, and showing your motivation for the role goes a long way. We can give you honest feedback and help you prepare when we put you forward for a role.
We’re human, friendly, honest, and here to support you — not sell to you. Our approach is consultative and people-first, which means we take the time to understand what matters to you before suggesting any roles. You won’t be pressured into applying for or accepting jobs that don’t fit, and we’ll never send your CV anywhere without your clear consent.
We’ll keep you informed at every stage, offer impartial advice and advocate for you during negotiations, and give you honest feedback — even if it’s not what you were hoping to hear. Whether you're actively job hunting or just curious about what’s out there, we’re always happy to chat.
Above all, we’re here to build long-term relationships, not to rush you or push you into filling a role. Many of the people we work with come back to us years later — either as jobseekers again or as employers looking to grow their own teams. To us, that’s a sign we’re doing something right.
