About the Role
Tired of timesheets?
Looking for a role where you can focus on what you do best?
Lets be real: if you're an experienced Ecologist, you don't need to be told when and where to work.
You've been doing this for years (more than five, to be exact) and you're fully capable of managing your own schedule. But if your current role still has you tracking every minute of your day with timesheets, adhering to pointless office hours, and following rigid working patterns, then you've probably had enough.
We get it.
Maybe it's time to join a consultancy where trust and respect are at the heart of everything they do. Who believe that Ecologists are at their best when they're given the freedom to manage their own time. Which means no mandated office hours, and definitely no micromanaging. Where you'll have the flexibility to work from home - or wherever you work best - when you're not out on site.
If you're looking for a role where your autonomy is respected and where you're free to do what you do best without being bogged down with tracking hours and filling out timesheets, this could be the perfect fit.
About the role:
As Senior / Principal Ecologist, you'll be involved in delivering protected species surveys and biodiversity net gain (BNG) consultancy to clients, with room to shape your next role in line with your desires and aspirations. Whether you're looking to:
Niche further into a particular specialism such as BNG, herpetofauna, bats, PEA, HRA or River Condition Assessment...
Be more involved in coaching and developing junior members of the team...
Be more desk-based, more field-based, or achieve a more balanced mix of the two...
...this could be a great opportunity to tailor a role to best fit your strengths and preferences.
