About the role:


You'll be working within a growing multidisciplinary, playing a key role in their Planning team and enjoying great exposure across a range of interesting sectors, across the whole lifecycle. Sectors include renewables (solar, wind, battery energy storage), nuclear, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, EV charging, advanced waste management (waste to energy & waste to fuels), residential, leisure and government.


Based out of their Central Bristol office, this role is primarily office-based with the opportunity to work-from-home once a week. You'll benefit from excellent support and training opportunities, including a mentoring scheme for chartership if not yet Chartered.

Your role will include:

  • Preparing and co-ordinating Planning applications and supporting documents

  • Attending client meetings and site visits across the UK

  • Preparing Planning site appraisals, planning policy research, and feasibility reviews

  • Preparing and submitting planning representations for site identification within Local Development Plans

  • Preparing discharge of Planning Condition submissions

  • Engaging with Local Planning Authorities, stakeholders, and public consultation events

  • Contributing to preparation of Environmental Statements (EIA)

Salary & benefits:


Salary will be in the region of £33,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including:

About you:

  • 1-2 years+ Planning experience (post-qualifying)

  • BSc degree in a related field (Geography, Environmental Science)

  • MRTPI chartership or working towards

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
