About the Role
Are you an early-career Urban Designer thinking about your next move?
If you care about:
Working on (and getting to develop an impressive portfolio around!) some of the most important place-making projects in the UK
Honing your skills and further developing a niche within public realm and regeneration work
Tackling urgent issues like the biodiversity, climate and social inequality crises, with landscape as the starting point for change
Working collaboratively and with a shared sense of purpose, with some of the most talented people in the industry
And getting great support toward Chartership while you're at it...
.... then this could be the perfect fit for you!
You'll be joining a renowned design-led practice based out of their Manchester office on a hybrid basis - with flexible working and both full-time and part-time options available.
Alongside a highly coveted workload and opportunity to work on meaningful projects, you'll get to join a people-first business where values lead and success is shared - think profit sharing, a real say in how the business is run, and a supportive, friendly and inclusive culture.
What we're looking for:
At least 1-2 years experience in urban design / masterplanning within a consultancy setting in the UK
A passion for driving change through placemaking
Strong conceptual urban design, landscape and public realm design skills
Strategic thinking skills and a good understanding of placemaking principles
Proficiency in the following programmes/softwares: Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and Rhino (and ideally Revit)
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
